Here is the new blog that many of my friends suggested that I start with a focus in artists and their patrons. This blog will link to Facebook, James George Art Lovers page and will receive feeds from other newsy channels with which I have affiliations.
When an artist is included in the Artist Compendium it is because their work merits inclusion. I have found from years of research that people (patrons) enjoy learning as much as they can about artists as a way to more fully appreciate and understand an artist’s work.
From time to time, Artist Compendium may write about galleries, but the focus here is on artists and galleries are on place to find them as well as at websites.
Being an artist and a writer, I will include my own work sometimes to illustrate something or to just communicate.
Thanks to all the artists who agree to let me write about them.
Yes, I intend to write a book eventually. If you are in the Artist Compendium, you will automatically be considered for inclusion in the book.
